Contest Theme

    The online contest is designed to showcase the creative talents of college students in static website design. It aims to provide a platform for students to demonstrate their skills in web development and design, fostering innovation and excellence in the digital realm.

Contest Guidelines

  • Design Elements: The website design should include essential elements such as a homepage, about page, contact page, and at least one additional page relevant to the chosen theme.
  • Technologies: Participants are free to use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and any other front-end technologies. However, server-side scripting languages and databases are not allowed as this is a static website design contest.
  • Originality: Designs must be original and not copied from existing templates or websites. Any plagiarism will result in disqualification.
  • Responsiveness: Designs should be responsive and mobile-friendly, ensuring optimal user experience across devices.
  • Submission: Participants must submit their designs in a compressed file format (ZIP or RAR) containing all necessary files (HTML, CSS, images, etc.) along with a brief description of their design choices and theme relevance.
  • Upon applying for any contest, the coins deducted from your account are non-refundable, regardless of participation.

Judging Criteria

  • Creativity and Innovation: Originality of the design concept, creativity in layout, use of graphics, and overall innovation.
  • Theme Relevance: How well the design aligns with the chosen theme, including the visual representation and content.
  • User Experience: Ease of navigation, clear and concise content presentation, and responsiveness across devices.
  • Aesthetics: Visual appeal, color schemes, typography choices, and overall aesthetic quality of the design.
  • Technical Proficiency: Use of coding best practices, clean and well-structured code, compatibility with modern web browsers, and adherence to web standards.
  • Presentation: Clarity and effectiveness of the accompanying description explaining design choices and theme integration.

Additional Notes

  • The contest will be open to college students from all disciplines.
  • A panel of judges comprising experienced web designers and developers will evaluate the submissions based on the above criteria.
  • Prizes and recognition will be awarded to the winners, with possibly categories like Best Overall Design, Most Innovative Concept, and Best User Experience.

  • 1st Prize: ₹3000
  • 2nd Prize: ₹1500
  • 3rd Prize: ₹750
  • Participation Certificate for Everyone
