Contest Guidelines

  • Theme: The theme of the poster design contest is "The Importance of Trees." Participants should create posters that convey the value of trees in terms of environmental sustainability, biodiversity, air quality improvement, carbon sequestration, ecosystem services, and their impact on human well-being.
  • Design Elements: Posters should incorporate key design elements such as images or illustrations of trees, forests, nature landscapes, environmental symbols, relevant icons, and textual content to convey the message effectively.
  • Message Clarity: The poster should clearly communicate the benefits of trees, such as oxygen production, habitat for wildlife, shade provision, soil erosion prevention, and their role in combating climate change.
  • Originality: Designs must be original and not copied from existing templates or artworks. Participants should avoid using copyrighted material without permission.
  • Visual Appeal: Pay attention to color schemes, typography, layout composition, use of whitespace, and overall visual appeal to make the poster engaging and impactful.
  • Dimensions and Format: Posters should be designed in a standard format suitable for printing, with the given dimensions - A4 size, 300 dbi resolution.
  • Submission: Participants must submit their poster designs in digital format (JPG or PNG) along with a brief description explaining the design concept, message, and how it relates to the importance of trees.
  • Upon applying for any contest, the coins deducted from your account are non-refundable, regardless of participation.

Judging Criteria

  • Visual Impact: Overall visual appeal, creativity in design, use of colors, imagery, and graphics to create a visually striking poster.
